“Is there anything too hard for God?” God asked Abraham.(Genesis 18:14)* What a question to ask! The answer would be simple to respond to for most of us. Of course there is nothing too hard for God. We know that!! Yet, do we act like it in our daily lives? Or… are we more like Sarah. She laughed when she heard she would be with child at age 90.
God declared and asked Jeremiah (32:27):
Behold, I am the Lord, the God of all flesh; is there anything too hard for Me?”
Jeremiah proclaimed in (37:17):
Ah Lord God! Behold, you have made the heavens and the earth by your great power and by your outstretched arm! There is nothing too difficult or too wonderful for you.”
An Angel informs Mary she is “highly favored and with child” and assures her in (Luke 1: 37):
“For with God nothing is ever impossible and no word from God shall be without power or impossible of fulfillment.
After an encounter with a rich young man (Luke 18:27; Matt. 19:26) Jesus said,
“The things that are impossible with people are possible with God.”
These are just a few examples of people being challenged to believe and trust God. The challenge for me, for you, for anyone is… Do we act as if there is nothing too hard for God?
Do we believe that all things are possible with God?
Consider the majesty of God’s limitless power.
· There is no promise too hard for God to fulfill.
· There is no prayer too hard for God to answer.
· There is no problem too big for God to solve.
· There is no person too hard for God to save.
· Apply it to your life. Have you ever limited the Lord’s work in your life? Have you chained Him with unwillingness, unconcern, unreasonableness, uncleanliness, or unbelief? What is lacking in my life, and maybe yours, is faith that believes and is displayed in our daily lives. “There is nothing that is too hard for God, and with Him all things are possible.”
